Dear parents,As a community club we are always looking to offer our parents an opportunity to join in with helping to guide the club and be a part of the club’s future vision.With this in mind, we are looking to recruit an Assistant Treasurer to help out the committee and running of the club. If you feel that you have may have skills that would be useful for this role or would just like to get more involved in the running of the club then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. The amount of time required for the role is approximately 2-3 hours per week and full support and any necessary training will be provided for any volunteer. Winton School are travelling with African adventures to support Eileen Ngochoch school in Nakuru, Kenya. The pupils have been helping with building, decorating and teaching. Andover Town Youth U9 Blue had a very windy game away! The wind assisting each team for a half! The lads pushed hard getting off to a lead by half time but came back twice from behind to get the draw. Narrowly missing the win hitting the cross car towards the end.Players of the match; Gold, for Oscar finding the net, holding the ball, impressive tackling, pressing and dribbling to great affect.Silver, for Louie strong in defence and having the determination to attack. Our under 15s had a hard fought victory today, with a bare 11 players, due to the holiday season, and injury, the lads worked their socks off through the game, yo ensure they took home the 3 points today.Supporters man of the match went to Finley who was a calming presence whilst at centre back, and drove the team forward when he moved up to midfield.Coaches man of the match went to 2 players Josh for filing in at various positions all over the pitch today, and was calm on the ball, and intelligent with his play.
